OzzyBosco Lands LAWMA Ambassadorship

In an era where corporate players use celebrities to drive their brands to consumers, one organization that has deeply looked inwards for a truly value-adding relationship is LAWMA.

The Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) led by Mr Ola Oresanya on Monday 5th May, 2014 endorsed the kid dynamite; OzzyBosco Wonderkid as its Brand Ambassador to drive their environmental cleanliness through OzzyBosco’s pet project “KEEP LAGOS CLEAN”  …Children Lead, Adults Follow, a Cleanliness Revolution Campaign to kids and teens within Lagos and its environ.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Ola Oresanya, the Managing Director of LAWMA said “OzzyBosco and his team are here with an unprecedented cleanliness campaign aimed at revolutionizing environmental sanitation, which will sensitize, encourage and educate children to imbibe cleanliness culture early in life.

Stating further, he said “Because LAWMA is a Change Agent, we want to change our nation and OzzyBosco is coming at a right time when LAWMA is tasty for change and to redefine our social values, ‘if you want to change a nation you start by re-orientating the children and teens, so that the next generation will have the right environmental values”. The book of Proverb rightly says “train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it”.

“Of course this organization is so fascinated with what we saw (referring to OzzyBosco’s             “Keep Lagos Clean” blueprint and past antecedents), OzzyBosco program is going to be a long term one, the kid is going to represent our brand as an Ambassador for change, towards the attitude of children/teens and what they can do. I believe in supporting the OzzyBosco dream, hence we endorse this WonderKid as our “LAWMA AMBASSADOR” the MD concludes.

LAWMA endorsement makes it the second brand ambassadorial appointment for the       “Tinini” crooner in about six months, having been made Tigo Brand Ambassador (CWAY Foods and Beverages) only a few months ago.

OzzyBosco and Lagos State children and teens will soon swing into action in a cleanliness campaign tagged “Keep Lagos Clean …children lead, adults follow” which will be flagged off by the action governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, (SAN).

OzzyB’s primary assignment is to carry along our younger generations to inculcate in them a deep rooted sense of responsibility towards cleanliness in their homes, schools and public places. Guided by their idol, OzzyBosco Wonderkid, the children and teens will serve as  Change Agents in the on-going fight against filth and environmental pollution in Lagos State.

On every other environmental cleanliness exercise day, this noble project will take OzzyB

and his team around Lagos Local Government Areas, sensitizing and physically performing their duties alongside other children/teens of that locality.

Having won the Kids Got Talent Competition at the tender ago of four, OzzyBosco has churned out over 128 scintillating stage performances in less than three years, carting home sixteen reputable entertainment awards and two ambassadorial endorsements. Amazingly, Alongside Alhaji Bamanga Tukur (CON), his wife and other eminent personalities, OzzyBosco became the youngest entertainer to bag the unprecedented chieftaincy title of “OMENANWATA IGBO”       (a child that does amazing things at tender age).

OzzyB’s academic brilliance is not in question as he is a high scorer and active pupil in school. A former Class Captain, who is currently serving as the Art Master having won the              “Most Creative Pupil” in class on two (2) consecutive years (2012 and 2013). He has also won medals in track and field competitions within and outside the school.

Despite being in full time education, OzzyBosco has broken all known records in                      kids’ entertainment industry in Africa, having dropped nine mind-blowing singles (including jaw-dropping theme music “Keep Lagos Clean”) and two musical videos featuring elitist Nigerian artistes: MI Chairman, Flavour, Terry G, Dr. Tee-Mac (MFR), Olamide, Yemi Sax, Lamboginny, and also Midnight Crew in his soon to drop Gospel song.

Indeed, OzzyBosco deserves the standing ovation he received from the MD and executive members of LAWMA on his day of honour.
