Kolawole Laniyan Weds Hearthrob Of Many Years

Dredging big boy Kolawole Laniyan, a special aids to Lagos State Governor, Babtunde Raji Fashola (SAN) took his heartthrob of many years, beautiful Latifah Adams, the daughter of famous Latris Fashion designer, Kabiyesi Lateef & Olori Risikat Atanda Adams in a grand traditional wedding ceremony which took place at The Ark Water Zone on the 16th November, 2013. The event was indeed glamourous as choice of wine and sumptuous meals were fully served. It was event of creme-de-la-creme within the society. The high point of the event was the supply of very tenacious songs from Juju maestro, Queen Ayo Balogun and K2 the adopted musical son of K1 d Ultimate.















8TH IKEJA CITY AWARD HOTS UP - - - Adebutu Kessington, Afe Babalola, Muiz Banire, Kuforiji, Bola Ilori and others to be Honoured.

The 8th edition of the epoch making annual award ceremony, Ikeja City Award will once again hold come December 15th, 2013. The well and highly attended went will once again be a convergence of who is who in the society. 
Just as the motto of the award which is celebrating achievers, Top notable personality in the society which include the billionaire lotto merchant, Chief Kessington Adebutu, philanthropist award, highly respected legal luminary, Chief Afe Babalola, educationist award,  former commissioner for Environment in Lagos State, Muiz Banire, grassroot politician, the incumbent speaker of Lagos Assembly, Chief Adeyemi Kuforiji, outstanding speaker, Mrs. Lola Akande, grassroot politician, Hon. Bola Ilori; Special Adviser on Environment, Osun State Government and many others are billed to be awarded at this year edition. Meanwhile, Oba Rafiu Matemi, Olu of Ikeja, the pioneer member of Board of Trustees and Oba Muideen Olatunji Yusuf, Ilu-Ibi 1 of Onigbongbo also one of the royal fathers to register their presence at the event award will be given to both co-operate bodies and individual.
In his speech, the Executive Director and Founder of Ikeja City Awards, Sola Olugbemiro, promised to make this year edition a fun-filled. He also urged all the indigenes of Ikeja and its environs to embrace peace. He also advised the youth to steer clear of violence just as the 2015 election is fast approaching. 
Meanwhile, preparation is in top gear as guests from all walks of life have been showing their interests to witness another edition of 8th Ikeja City Award. The Executive Chairman, LIRS (Lagos State Inland Revenue Servcies) Tunde Fowler, will be guest speaker, theme: Taxation, the effect on individual and government.
