How Arsenal Destroy City To Win Shield

SUMMARY
Arsenal experienced that winning feeling at Wembley once again as a polished performance saw off Manchester City in the Community Shield.
Santi Cazorla opened the scoring for the FA Cup holders with a low shot in the 21st minute and Aaron Ramseyadded a second three minutes before the break, finishing expertly after good work from Yaya Sanogo.
The best was saved for last though, substitute Olivier Giroud producing a thunderous effort from 25 yards to put the seal on a eye-catching victory over a rather subdued City side.
This is the 13th time Arsenal have lifted the Shield in its various guises but it is the nature of the victory that will most please Arsène Wenger.
His replenished squad look fit, focused and fluent, and they will be on a high when the first points of the Premier League season are at stake against Crystal Palace next weekend.
After this triumph there will be talk of 'laying down a marker'. That can be overplayed, but momentum is vital in football and Arsenal have plenty of it going into the new campaign.

Osun polls: Omisore writes protest letter

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in saturday’s governoship election in Osun state, Senator Iyiola Omisore last night protested the alleged announcement of the result by the All Progressives Congress APC.
In the letter of protest personally signed by Senator Omisore and addressed to the state Resident Electoral Commissioner, the PDP candidate alleged that contrary to the results being circulated around by the APC, he was actually leading in the poll.
The letter reads in part:” I hereby condemn the APC candidate , Raufu Aregbesola declaring his own version of the results without recourse to INEC. With the facts of results, its apparent that the PDP candidate , Dr. Iyiola Omisore is leading”.
“This act of APC is in conflict with the provisions of Electoral Law 2010 whereby a candidate can concoct figures and released to confuse the public thus make this election inconclusive until facts behind the figures are released by the INEC”.
” The peace and stability of this state is such under an unprecedented threat . The results so far by APC remained cancelled”.

5 Reasons You Should Have Sex With Your Husband Every Night

I was getting a manicure the first time I learned that not all wives want to, ahem, go for a roll in the hay with their husbands. I was 16 and had picked out orange nail polish (oh, sixteen). I had a book with me but it wasn't long before I found another source of entertainment. In-between buffings and polishings, the two women next to me talked about how much their husbands wanted IT and how little they wanted to give IT.
For a girl that had not even been asked out on a date this was a whole new world. I had a suspicion that their experience was more realistic than the articles I sneaky read in Cosmo while getting my hair done at the salon. (I am supposed to put my hand WHERE? while simultaneously doing WHAT?) So I kept my eyes on my book, let the words blur into lines and listened closely.

Betty Njoku to Debut "Living Together" on TV

Betty Njoku Oluwome who has in the past produced films like the Phobia, My Baby Boy, and Midnight Murder is back with another bang on TV. LIVING TOGETHER, a new sitcom is a production of the actress/producer starring new but highly talented actors like Chika Okeke, Ekemini Nankere, Nev Harrison, Lord Frank, Bola Ogunmola.
Living Together is a modern day urban sitcom comprising of five characters namely MIMI, TEMI, YOYO, CHUKS, and NAME POTASSIUM. All three ladies (Mimi, Temi and Yoyo) are individuals who came into each other’s world as adults and took a decision to rent an apartment together which had them splitting the rent among themselves.
With family members residing in other parts of the country, the ladies currently live in the big city and each is armed with a desire to move to a greater level in life and in love in no distant future.
Mimi and Temi are university graduates with certificates to show for it while Yoyo unfortunately had a slightly unstable upbringing as a result of losing her dad at a very tender age; this left her as a secondary school dropout. Yoyo is however a very competent fashion designer. Chuks is Temi’s cousin and a graduate from an institution in the eastern part of Nigeria.
He is one with a questionable certificate (this he denies all the time). Name Potassium is a young man who lives in the neighborhood and comes visiting anytime and almost every time. He has a crush on Temi and believes he will someday end up marrying her. Name Potassium although never mentions what higher institution he attended, he is suspected at some point to be a graduate from one of the nearby mental institutions, a claim which however, doesn't have a single proof.
LIVING TOGETHER is basically cut out to entertain a global audience through the comedy medium. The witty characters oftentimes fight and argue over irrelevant issues but always come back at the end of the day to settle their differences. This sitcom mirrors the modern day youth, their goals, desires, challenges and shortcomings.
