Jose donates more then of 90% of his $12,000 per month salary to benefit the poor and to help small entrepreneurs.  If we need more of anything in this world, it would be more people like this! This man doesn’t put value on his appearance or clothes.  He is criticized for his posture and clothes, but Jose puts more value on other things in life instead.

Government Shut Down Ogba Retail & Sunday Market!!!

As you are reading this story, the popular Sunday Market along Wempco Road, Ogba, Lagos has been shut down since two weeks now. According to inside sources, government accused them of littering the gutter with waste and environmental pollution which has been affecting the new road constructed. It was also gathered that, the government has promised to build a modern day market on the land instead of the open space occupied by the market women. This we gathered has affected the Ogba Retail Market where there are over 500 lock-up shops. We were told that the new market should accommodate even pepper, yam, fish, meat and vegetable sellers as it used to be before the demolition and reconstruction.

While stressing that necessary consideration be given to some shop owners that once bought containers in the market from the former developer of the market, the report also ordered that the sum of N150,000 should be given to shop owners that do not want to be relocated to containers in the interim, as compensation.
