Finecoat Paint Boss, Remi Awode Loses Dad

…Ayefele, Tope Alabi, Mega 9’9 Billed To Perform

The entire Awode dynasty of Ikorodu has lost a rare gem, Pa Dickson Awode to the cold hands of death. And most pained is the rich in wealth and God’s wisdom son of the deceased, Apostle Aderemi Emmanuel Awode, CEO of Chemstar Manufacturing Industries, makers of Finecoat paints and other allied products.

The deceased’s family, friends, associates and church members are not leaving anything to chance towards giving their patriarch a befitting exit. To this effect, all is set to celebrate the icon that lived a glorious life in Christ.
Remi Awode, like every other child, felt a part of him gone with the unexpected demise of his dad. But as a Christian, who believes in practicing what he preaches, rather than wear a sullen look, gave all thanks to God for the life and time he spent with Snr Apostle Dickson Awode, a true example of what a loving father should be. Dr Dickson Awode born on Saturday 27, November 1937, took his last breadth on Tuesday, 18th December, 2018.
A man who left the shores of this world at 81 having given his all and best to God and country sure deserves to be richly celebrated. No tears, no anguish or regret but to celebrate a man of purpose, a rare gem who came, saw and conquered in all spheres of life.
As they say that death is not the greatest loss but a life that came and left without living any legacy.
Dr. Awode, no doubt, was a philanthropist till death, always giving and sharing, contributing to the construction of churches both in Lagos, Kaduna, Ibadan, Benin, Makurdi and Maiduguri. He was always involved, making things happen....
It’s not far-fetched where Remi Awode got his giving spirit from; the younger Awode saw this great attribute in his dad and grasped it to complement himself as a being that never over looked the perseverance in the younger generation fighting against all odds to excel. To such people, Remi Awode has always proved himself as a support pillar and a part in their success story. It's now obvious to those who think fallen leaves are dead, has never watched them dancing on a windy day.
Meanwhile, preparation is in top gear to give a befitting burial to the late Pa Awode with Tope Alabi, Yinka Ayefele, Mega 9’9 and other gospel acts billed to entertain the guests for the two-week long funeral programme.
