Biola Alabi, the Managing Director of M-Net Africa has resigned her appointment from the multinational cable/satellite content company. She has dropped her resignation letter a few days ago, and this is authoritative. According to findings Biola’s resignation is mired in controversy. While some sources claim that she was forced to resign, others insist that she did so out of her own volition. Biola was able to distinguish herself as one of the most accomplished and powerful women in African media, when she sat atop the multinational cable/satellite content company. She has been at the forefront of the expansion of the AfricaMagic channels brand across the continent. Biola once made it to the 11th position of Forbes’ listing of the Africa’s Most Powerful Women in the Media. She was also honoured as a 2012 Young Global Leader by World Economic Forum. Biola always exemplifies the young, smart and successful woman other women aspire to be.
