Wow.
Of course, Odom and Kardashian are dealing with a more serious situation this week, and we imagine Eminem’s lyrics aren’t really their top concern.

Wizkid who was dressed in a White T-shirt and a Red Sofa Shoe came in a black Porshce Cayenne with covered number plates, the starboy who must have been sneaked into the VFS Compound came out into the waiting hands of a large number of cheering fans who wanted to shake and snap pictures with Wizkid. Obviously they wanted some naira notes as well #TypicalNaijaWay We confirmed that Wizkid who must have had his mind made up came outside the VFS Compound where he had gone to submit travelling documents for Canada and shunned the cheering crowd. All efforts to get Wizkid to snap pictures, shake or even show “some love” financially to the cheering crowd fell on deaf ears as Starboi completely ignored everyone as he walked arrogantly into the waiting Porsche Cayenne. Witness at the scene confirmed that Wizkid’s silence and arrogant attitude got the cheering fans pissed hence why they resulted into stoning the BET Award winner as he made to drive out. Unfortunately for Wizkid, one of the many stones caught his car side glass but the Pakurumo crooner did not wait a second. The angry fans who complained bitterly placed a comparison between Wizkid and Durosoke Crooner, Olamide. They argued that Olamide would never ignore his fans as he constantly relates with the street hence why he’s never been mobbed or attacked. We hope the damage done to Wizkid’s car won’t cost him more thousands than he would have threw at the crowd waiting for him, some 20k could have saved Wizkid the embarrassment. Wizkid is yet to official comment about this thou.

Love Has Never Been And Will Never Be Fair To Me” – Seyi Shay
Oluwaseyi Deborah Joshua, also known as Seyi Shay, came into limelight with her hit single ‘Irawo’ and has remained in the news due to her colourful and exciting performances on stage. The Afro Pop singer who stormed the music scene last year, in a recent interview talks about her life, love and her travails in the Nigerian music industry. The singer was asked about her love life and she replied thus: “Love has never been fair to me; love is never going to be fair. It’s even worse as a musician because in the Nigerian tradition, it is not seen as a conventional or respectable thing to be a musician. Everybody expects you to be seen and not heard. But when you are in the public eye like this, it is not easy to find true love.” When asked what inspires her kind of songs, she said everyday life On her role models in the industry, she said, “definitely Sound Sultan, 2Face (for his humility) and Wizkhid (laughs) for his consistency and hard work; and Omawumi because she is a strong woman. She is signed to her own record label – Oma Records. She is a mother and an artiste. I respect her a lot for funding herself”.
Iyanya, Ayefele Sing For Jonathan Re-Election: Power Of Money
During the regime of the late military dictator, General Sanni Abacha, he paid some artistes, Shina Peters, Zaki Adzee and others to sing for his transition programme in Abuja, shortly after the man died, people of conscience threw insults at them for selling their conscience. Some apologised, some took it as one of those things while others, till today, faded off.
Now during the time of Goodluck Jonathan, it’s obvious that people are suffering, children are helpless and the constitution of the land has been audaciously violated with impunity; no man in his right thinking would bid for the re-election of GEJ. But it’s so shocking to note that, the likes of Inyaya, the hip hop rave of the moment and Yinka Ayefele, the Juju/gospel singer, despite what is happening in the society, decided to allow to be used, just as in the days of Sanni Abacha, to campaign for the re-election of the incumbent PDP governance. I just hope that the story will not end as it did in 1993. They both took sometime to take a picture at a recent campaign for President Goodluck Jonathan. We hear they might work on a single for him soon. Until then, let’s keep our fingers crossed.
Tope Alabi's Hope Dashed As Pastor Ajanaku Resurrects In The Hospital…
Ajanaku Like a proverbial cat with nine lives, controversial pastor and estranged spiritual father of popular gospel singer, Tope Alabi, Prophet Iretiola Ajanaku is said to have regained life after being certified dead. Hospital sources revealed that while effort were being made to prepare him for morgue, the man, who has refused to die, awoke and shouted ‘Thank You Jesus!’ and relapsed into a spiritual slumber. Meanwhile, his wife, we gathered, has been telling sympathisers that “I knew daddy would come back to life again.” Right now, we cannot categorically tell you if the man will awake again or not. Another report has it that, while preparations were in top gear to get his body deposited at a nearby morgue, a medical doctor was said to have been contacted to certify him dead and get a death certificate but they were shocked when the doctor declared that the man still has live in his body. For now his inner members are insisting that the prophet should be left till Friday, believing that he would have come back fully to life. So the waiting continues. Prophet Ajanaku who is famous with popular gospel singer Tope Alabi’s fame was recently in the public eye when he opened up that the singer had demanded s*x from him. We shall keep you updated as the drama unfolds.

Woman Regain Senses After 18 Years Under Muslim Cleric’s Spell
A woman is supposed to watch where she goes, and who she associates with. Most girls are always desperate and at the end of the day, they fall into wrong hands. Bolatito, a former undergraduate of University of Ibadan got carried away by her friend’s flashy life style. According to her friend who is our source and an indigene of Ibadan, they decided to take a bolder step by consulting an Islamic cleric who consulted another cleric and she was given some concoction to eat with the hope that she would get good pay from men after sleeping with them like her friends. But to her friend’s surprise, Bolatito started falling in love with the Islamic cleric, and was skipping lectures, ‘’I thought it was a joke so I did not bother to inform her parents but when she moved her thing out of the school hostel and refused to talk to me again, I knew it was getting out of hand. I had to involve them. I narrated what happened but left the part that we were the ones that consulted the Islamic cleric for charms, I only told them she has stopped attending lectures and has moved out of the hostel. Her father did not take the matter likely, he called her to come and see him so many times but she refused, and this made the father very furious and decided to trace her. “ On getting to his house, we met Bola who was pregnant, and on sighting us she stood up as if she wanted to fight us. “When we drew closer, she asked what we wanted and that if we didn’t have anything to say, we should leave.
“The father tried to drag her but she was screaming and it was drawing attention from neighbours and we had to leave. “All plans to speak to Alfa were fruitless, he didn’t want to see her family members and she changed her line. This problem continued for a long time, and her parents were going from one church to another. It was when they got to a white garment church that they were told that she ate a love concoction and were told not to go to the Alfa’s house again but should continue to pray for her. After so many years of praying and hoping that she would be back to her senses, her mother fell sick and later died, leaving the father to continue with the struggle. After some time, the father also fell ill and died.
“After so many years, I heard a knock on my door, only for me to find Bola looking dirty and old, I almost fainted, but quickly got hold of myself but still confused if to allow her in or not. It was then she narrated her story of how she continuously ate concoction given to her by her husband, and said the other Islamic cleric died not too long after she regained her sense. She threatened to expose him, but he said he would kill her if she tried to do so. She already has five kids for him. TITILAYO ILORI
Exclusive! Health Benefits Of Swallowing Semen
The good news is that it's beneficial! Recently, studies have shown that regular consumption of semen can actually have some wonderful health benefits. Semen is made up of many different vitamins, minerals, glycoproteins, human specific components, selenium, spermidine (enzyme), fructose, zinc, B vitamins B12 and C and 13 prostaglandins and high concentrations of hormones that retain potency if taken orally. The quality of the seminal hormones is thought to be superior to even prescription versions. In the study, women who regularly consumed their lovers’ sperm showed such benefits as a reduction in ovarian cancers, lowered depression and many even had acne symptoms lessen or stop entirely. It is thought that the oral consumption of the potent hormones had a balancing effect on woman's hormonal ups and downs caused by their periods and pregnancy or breastfeeding. And swallowing healthy semen three times a week has other great benefits too; longer life span, slower ageing, clear skin, burns excess fat, prevents diabetes, elevates mood, natural high, prevents depression and prevents the donor getting prostate cancer.
• Boosting cardio health
Recent study found that women who gave their men oral sex, and swallowed, had a lower risk of preeclampsia, the dangerously high blood pressure that sometimes accompanies pregnancy. Boosting cardio health.
• Reduces Risk of Pregnancy Semen and sperm go down into your stomach, where they are digested with all other food. There is no passage connecting your stomach to your ovaries. You cannot get pregnant from swallowing sperm. If the donor has no STDs, it's perfectly safe. It can also lower the chance of miscarriage. By having your body recognize the antigens in the man’s semen you can reduce the possibility of an inappropriate immune response.
• Fattening
Semen is full of protein; minerals, zinc, calcium, some fructose sugars and other nutrients. It has few calories and is perfectly safe to swallow if it has no germs.
• Sore throats and diabetes
The next time you eat too much sugar and worry about your insulin levels, balance it out with a little semen. If you lose your voice shouting at the kids for fighting, protect your throat with semen.
• Semen can boost your mood
If the hormones in semen, mainly testosterone and estrogen, make women happy when they screw, why wouldn't they make women happy when they swallow. Going on that theory, swallowing can make you happier.
Swallowing semen will not harm you, as long the man is healthy.
• Healthy (no STDs) it is fine. HOWEVER, swallowing semen is not necessarily a negative act; sexual norms vary from person to person. One person's turn-on is another's turn-off. Do what makes you feel happy and pleasurable.
• From a healthy man, it will absolutely not harm you in any way. It's 95% water anyway. In fact, if the man is healthy, there are far fewer germs in semen (almost none, really) than there would be in his saliva, so swallowing semen is less likely to cause any problem than a deep tongue kiss where you get his saliva in your mouth....remember that next time you swap spit with your boyfriend.
• Nothing harmful. You just have to digest some extra protein in your diet. You cannot get pregnant doing this. It will not poison or make you ill.

17-Year Old OAU Student Crowned ‘Iyalorisa Of Yoruba’!
Wonders, they say, shall never end. This best describes a situation where a 17-year old girl who is a student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) named Omitonade Ifawemimo, was made the head of a women occult group in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The attractive looking girl, we heard, possesses spiritual powers and wields great influence among her fellow cultists who are much older with some old enough to be her grandmother!
Surprised at her status at just 17, this magazine asked how she felt controlling women of her grandma’s age and her being a student; Iyalorisa, as she is now being referred, said “firstly, age has nothing to do with understanding the basics of belief, as the learning process and initiation rites start from a tender age which in turn makes one in that path has vast knowledge about the mystical and what one holds firmly as a way of life. In view of this, having understood the basics and passing through my initiation rites, I have qualified to be Iyalorisa”.
So, why starting very much early and not wait until after schooling or why even go to school at all; “That was not part of the doctrines. Aside from the fact that I was born into it, to be versatile and be experienced in my faith, it is of great importance not to be distracted with activities that can effect derailing. All knowledge gained at tender age, used rightly and propagated in the right channel, lives with one forever till death. As for the school, I am studying Economics. Education is distinct from religion; religion is the process of receiving or giving systematic instructions, especially at school. To be an undergraduate studying Economics is to fulfill my educational upliftment since I have done that with my spirituality. Education will in turn make me diversify in my undertaking with divine direction I received from my belief. Education is a whole institution while my religion is an institution packed with a lot of spiritual lessons and ancestral ways of life”.
Fine; why then did she not register to study Yoruba as that would give vent to the faith she had passion for. “Funny, anything traditional can never be learned in the higher institution of learning. The basic requirements for learning art and cultures of Yoruba reside in the local practitioners that have never been to the four walls of the University. How many higher institutions of learning in Nigeria teach the core idea and essence behind Yoruba fundamental tradition? There is basically no one. For example, Chief Yemi Elebuibon never had a Western education, yet he's a renowned visiting lecturer to more than 25 universities in the US. He knows what is hidden that can never be taught here and the White who brought education know these and tapped it. How many Yoruba graduates can chant ijala? How many of them know ‘odu ifa’ lines?”
Do you foresee for people’s spiritual problems? Yes, but not full time, as I also have other projects which I’m working on like writing books and making documentaries. And I don’t just attend to people, I consult for those you would call the movers and shakers of the society. But I will not disclose the identities of my clients.”
Do men pass love advances at you, knowing you are not just a student anymore now? Yes. There are proposals for relationship. I’m of age and it is the right time for a girl of my age. If they don’t come then, I will have to check myself. But how I manage advances from men, that is my personal business”.

LKT Recounts Armed Robbery Attack
For the past few days now, talented musician, LKT has been thanking his God for saving his life from the hands of armed robbers as he was attacked on his way home last week Friday. We gathered that he was attacked while driving towards Ogba, Ikeja when two men on bike pointed gun at him and threatened to shoot him if he refused to wind down the glass of his car which he eventually did. It was said that they collected all his valuable items. In fact, we were told that, if not for the traffic, they would have collected his car but he was left uninjured since he cooperated with them. Some of the things they collected from him include Blackberry phones, jewelries and money. When we called the singer, it was his manager that picked the call and he confirmed that they robbed the Fuji pop singer saying, "Yes, it is true, it happened along Ijaye Road, Ogba. He was just driving along the road and a bike was chasing him and when they got to his side, they pointed gun at him and he wound the glass down. We thank God they did not harm anybody but they carted away some valuable things."

Blood Test That Predicts How Long You’ll Live
Scientists in Britain have developed a novel blood test that could provide clues to the ageing process and determine how long an individual may live.
In a recent publication in the International Journal of Epidemiology, the scientists say they have discovered key metabolites in the blood, described as chemical ‘fingerprints’ left behind as a result of early molecular changes before birth or in infancy which not only could provide clues to health later in life but also pave the way for the development of therapies to treat age-related conditions.
Funded by the European Commission, Researchers from the Department of Twin Research at King’s College London, the research involves “metabolomic profiling,” the study of metabolites that specific cellular processes or changes leave behind in the blood.
Analysing blood samples donated by over 6,000 twins, they identified 22 metabolites directly linked to chronological age, the concentrations of the metabolites were higher in older people than in younger people.
Their finding suggests that levels of this novel metabolite, which may be determined in the womb and affected by nutrition during development, could reflect accelerated aging in later adult life. The scientists say the findings show it is possible that these markers of aging can be identified with simple blood tests in the future, which may provide further clues to the aging process and could pave the way for development of therapies to treat age-related conditions.
Ana Valdes, lead researcher from King’s, said that “human aging is a process influenced by genetic, lifestyle and environmental factors, but genes only explain a part of the story.
“Understanding the molecular pathways involved in the aging process could ultimately pave the way for future therapies to treat age-related conditions. As these 22 metabolites linked to aging are detectable in the blood, we can now predict actual age from a blood sample pretty accurately and in the future this can be refined to potentially identify future rapid biological aging in individuals,” she further said.

I Was A Victiim Of Domestic Violence In My Marriage -Chika Ike
Actress Chika Ike could no longer bear the horrible names fans have been giving her lately, so she decided to open up to the public what she has been facing in the hands of her Ex - Husband and why she decided they part ways. Find her story below...
The past three years has been a very emotional period for me. I focused my energy on work and to build back my self esteem. its been really hard for me to come out straight and talk about this because sometimes I pinch myself to wake up and not believe that I was a victim of domestic violence. I've been through a lot in my life, faced a lot of challenges but this is one topic I've tried so hard to avoid and have been waiting for the right time but I have come to a resolve that there's really no right time because every second of the day, lives are being lost due to domestic violence. I was a victiim of domestic violence in my marriage and that was the singular reason I left my marriage, aside other reasons. Growing up as a girl. I was always known as the sweetest kid on the block, before I got married, I have been through some relationships and for once no man had ever laid a finger on me. The first time it happened in my marriage I didn't understand it because I am not the type of woman a man beats but I guess there are no types. It just happens and no woman deserves it. As a young girl I thought it was love or his way of expressing his emotions, after every beating he pleads , cries and says it won't happen again, once again I thought it was love and made excuses for him. Over the years when it kept happening consistently I started looking for other definitions for it. I started loosing my self pride, self esteem , self worth, and most painfully i lost a pregnancy (Miscarriage) I almost lost my life in the process then I realised how serious and abnormal it really was. I have heard and read a lot of accusations from ignorant people who don't know my story,I guess that's why they are ignorant. I was 20yrs old and very naive to the world when I got married .“ They said I married for money“ LOL. I was married to a corporate guy,who had a 9_5 job in a bank, Lives in a rented 2 bedroom apartment at Egbe.. So do the maths! . I married for love. I did a traditional wedding. A white wedding and a court wedding. So that's how much I wanted to be married forever. For five years I hoped, prayed & wished that one day it will all change. But the last straw that broke the carmels back was during a heated argument he threw a glass jug to my face and I dogged it and it shattered on d wall. I saw death flash before me and I made a decision to save my life. I left my marriage. Am not saying this to draw pity from anyone because we are entitled to our opinions and believes. I am not also saying this to discourage people from falling in love because its a beautiful feeling and I still believe in it. I am saying this to educate, share and talk about my experience as a victim of domestic violence because it is real.- Chika Ike

Why I Proposed To Lola Omotayo By Peter Okoye
One half of the multiple award-winning P-Square, Peter Okoye, last Tuesday, shocked many of his fans when he finally proposed to Lola Omotayo, his long time friend and mother of his two kids (Cameron and Aliona) with a diamond ring and a brand new white Range Rover Vogue worth N15 million.
The proposal put to rest the widespread criticisms that have trailed their relationship over the years. Lola, who said ‘Yes’ to the proposal, reportedly was close to tears when the musician slipped the diamond engagement ring into her finger, and handed the car keys to her.
Peter, who didn’t give Lola prior notice of his plan, visited her residence with the car and parked it inside her compound. On the bonnet of the vehicle, he also dropped a rose flower and a love card with the inscription, ‘Please say Yes.’
This drama was followed by a long passionate kiss from the love birds. Minutes later, the musician posted on his Instagram and Twitter handle saying, “It’s about time,” and shortly after, he also posted that “she said yes.”
He later updated his Blackberry status with “Officially, she’s now Mrs. Okoye…” Speaking on why he decided to propose to Lola, Peter said: “it is something I had always wanted to do and I knew I would definitely do this to Lola one day, but I needed to wait for the right time. Honestly, she deserves even more from me.” he said. On her own, Lola said, “it is a day the Lord has made.
I’m excited the way any woman in my shoes would.” The romance between Peter and Lola started many years ago, even before Peter became a celebrity. Their relationship is already blessed with two kids; Cameron and Aliona Okoye. A Public Relations expert said that, Lola met Peter while she was working with FKG2, an advertising company.
SHAME ON YOU NIGERIANS ! SHAME ON YOU !!- AFROCANDY SAYS

Theatre Medicine: Abati And Okupe Issue Different Statements For Same Presidency On Same Issue
Doyin Okupe
By SaharaReporters, New York
The mega-party yesterday offered Jonathan an “invitation” to its ranks if he wanted to avoid the chaos in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and none of the two desperate aides, reflecting a state of panic in managing President Jonathan’s poor image, checked with the other about the definition of team.
Okupe wrote that in extending its invitation to the President, the National Chairman of the APC made reference to what it called crisis rocking the PDP, “forgetting that the real test of leadership is not in running away from crisis but in resolving them firmly and fairly.
“The very nature of democratic politics envisages conflict of ideas, interests and aspirations which must be aggregated for the overall good of the public and which all true leaders must be mentally and emotionally prepared to tackle,” the former medical doctor declared.
To that end, he said Mr. Jonathan has “continued to pursue the Transformation Agenda with zeal, focus and unequalled determination despite the enormous security challenges” which he blamed on “elements in the opposition political party who had hoped that the ship of the Nigerian Nation would not stay afloat under the first President ever produced from a minority ethnic group.”
Ignoring—or perhaps completely unaware of Okupe’s statement—Abati sent out his own, describing the APC invitation as “an acknowledgment of Jonathan’s sterling leadership qualities”.
He accused the merging parties of “forming a party only to realise they don’t have a candidate,” and that Jonathan is comfortable where he is.
Commenting on the matter this evening, a political observer said he was sure the APC could not believe it had lured the presidency out so early and easily.
“It is difficult to believe that these people do not realize they were being baited, and fell for the simplest trick in politics. Not only does Mr. Jonathan have two of his aides demonstrating a divided house, he has them dancing Azonto when Apala music is being played. But remember, one of these men studied theatre arts, the other one, Medicine. So perhaps we are seeing the emergence of a new field of entertainment we can call “Theatre Medicine.”
A newspaper columnist who reflected on the same issue, defended Abati for coming out with a second statement: “Remember that Jonathan recently gave Okupe a glittering new car. Abati does not want the next bag of goodies to go to someone else.”

FOR REAL MEN! 8 Ways Nigerian Men Can Be Better In Bed
Might it be that the way a man drives is a reflection of his bedtime activity? And, of course, I also wanted to ask: Is the lack of good sex driving women to fat in Nigeria?
You must have seen the scene before, where, after copulating, the man looked like the cat that got the cream, while the woman looked despondent and was busy searching under the pillow, the bed and in the wardrobe: for her orgasm!
Anyway, added to the above is the rising incidence of rape, marital strives and divorce due to adultery, which further underlines the problem. Every day, you hear of some woman killed by an irate husband because of this issue.
For God’s sake, what is the fun in forcing a woman to have sex, or by rape? Why would you date rape or even rape your wife? The real joy is making a woman want you — just you — again and again.
The problem
It seems that one of the biggest problems men face is knowing how to make love to a woman! Unfortunately, what commonly happens is that young men get their sexual advice from friends or from pornographic films and books. As a result, they have a distorted view of what it is actually about.
We need to re-educate men about what it means to love a woman. Sadly, of course, I am not an expert on sex matters and these articles are to inform, educate and, maybe, even to just brighten up your day.
Here, for your reading pleasure, is the synthesis of ‘How to make love to a woman’ from women’s point of view. This is what women want.
Love-making, not sex
The first thing men need to know is that women prefer to call it “making love.” ‘Sex’ sounds like a question and is very clinical. Sex? Oh yes, I am female! Thank you very much. So, this article is not an exposé on sex. If you want sex, then please see the girls on Gimbiya Street in Abuja. Or sort yourself out!
However, if you really want to know how to make love; if you want the woman to say, ‘Thank you’ afterwards or to come over the next time, seemingly having forgotten her knickers at home, then you should follow a proven system that is guaranteed to give pleasure to a woman.
Communication
Communicating your interest and intentions is very important. Ensuring that the woman of your dream knows that you care about her, and want her, is important. However, talk is also cheap, unless followed by good intentions and action. Communication can also be subtle and non verbal.
A lot of Nigerian men do not engage in making eye contact, holding hands, smiling, winking, stroking, cuddling, kissing, laughing, embracing, etc.
Intimacy
Never forget that making love is a whole body and mind experience. Cuddling, hugging and just being close together reassure women and promise safety. Women say that a good number of men are selfish partners who tend to initiate sex when it suits them and have little or no thought about their partners. Some women go through with it perfunctorily, as a duty.
Focus, timing, location
Planning, timing, focus and the right location are important. A woman will more than likely agree to have you if privacy is assured. Choose the location carefully, communicate the idea early and allow her to simmer — just for you. For most women, sex is in the mind: A woman needs to make love to you in her mind first.
Use protection
This is important and goes without saying. An annoying trend noticed among Nigerian men is the fact that they won’t buy their own protection (condoms). Why would you put your woman to risk? Part of the protection also includes your personal hygiene. Hygiene is important to women. Hygiene includes a bath, clean noses, ears, trim nails and clean shave (including the armpits).
Also, please wash your hands before touching a woman’s privates to avoid transmitting infection from car doors and household things.
Pleasure and fun
Take your time and really enjoy every individual sensation. That is how women do it. You need to learn how to listen to a woman’s body. It will tell you what she wants, just like yours tells her. Take it slow, so slow it hurts. It is rare that a slow pace will bore a woman.
Ensure mutual fun
The goal of sex is not just your orgasm but ecstasy for both partners. Love-making is not a movie set where everyone concentrates on his/her script. You do need to listen to her body — that is the most important thing.
While it is nice to occasionally focus on her exquisite spot, keep moving, doing things with your tongue and hands all over her. However, do not feel the need to work towards an orgasm, and do not lose your confidence if she doesn’t come every time.
Post-intercourse
Some women like to talk after sex and some don’t, so follow her cues. Talk to your woman, express your pleasure, praise her prowess, subtly point out any shortcomings and teach what she may seem to lack — so that she keeps getting better for you.
This is also the best time for cuddling. Most men hate this part, but many women only have sex at all to get to this part.
Okay. That’s it. Do feel free to read and share widely. Also, please communicate by sending in your thoughts, opinions and replies through the website. I cannot wait for your thoughts on this interesting topic.
7,000 Scramble For 500 admission Slot At Ekiti University
Over 7,000 prospective students are scrambling for the 500 slots at the Federal University, Oye Ekiti.
The Vice Chancellor of the university , Prof Isaac Asuzu disclosed this to newsmen at the campus weekend during the 2013 Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME)
He said it was the policy of the university that all the prospective applicants must write their examination online
Azuzu said the university would conduct the examination batch by batch for the remaining one week ,as the institution can boast of having 250 computers
The VC said the university needs about N1.5 billion to provide facilities in the Faculty of Engineering.
The Professor of Veterinary Medicine, said a committee had been raised to reach out to corporate bodies and international organizations to be able to actualize the target.
He said the mandated Entrepreneurial courses being offered by the students of the University , was meant to correct the impression being at local and international levels that Nigerian graduates are employable.
He further disclosed that the Federal Government has expended a sum of N3.5 billion to provide infrastructure in the institution, which he said was released in two tranches.
“For the faculty of Engineering to be a world class or 21st century Faculty, we will need up to N1.5 billion particularly to provide the best Laboratory that will offer our students the best learning process. We cannot rely on government alone and that is why we are reaching out to private bodies.”
Azuzu said the institution is presently strengthening its Research and innovation Centre, saying the institution recently sent one of its Directors and academic staff to China to understudy some new innovations in the areas of Science and Technology.

I Had Four Accidents A Year After Relocating To Nigeria –JJC
Just last month, hip-hop artiste, JJC, was involved in a ghastly motor accident. Unknown to many, that was one of the many accidents the artiste had been involved in since he relocated to Nigeria from London over a year ago.
The artiste explained to Saturday Beats that his current single, Show me love, was as a result of his experiences. JJC said that the accidents made him appreciate life more.
He said, “A lot of people don’t know but my new song, Show me love, was recorded and had its video done about two weeks ago. As soon as that accident occurred, my life changed. My way of life changed. I realised that I have been fortunate enough to live out 15 years of my dream. Imagine doing what you love for a living, every single day. I sing, rap, write songs and shoot music videos. That is why my song is Show me love. I am saying thank you to my family and fans. I would not have had the opportunity to say it if I had died.
“Now I have finally said it, we have to go everywhere. I want to see all the people that have been showing me love. It really changed my life; I go to church more often, I love my life more. Normally, you take everything for granted but not anymore. Right now, I am the happiest person and I appreciate everything the more.”
Born Abdul Rasheed Bello, the multi-talented act, who is most known in the UK as the producer and creator of the award winning group, Big Brovas, said he believes God is with him.
“Just before we did the ‘African Skank’ video, I was in the bath and I slipped and hit my head on the wall. There was a metal pipe that was sticking out of the wall and my head hit it. It cut my head open, but that did not stop me. I was rushed to the hospital. At the shoot of the video, I almost had a fatal accident as I was doing a stunt, I almost cracked my head open again. Recently we went to Benin, on our way back, a truck literally almost took us off the road. For some weird reasons, the driver slowed down and the truck swerved into a ditch. We had a lucky escape; Tunde Ednut was with us then.
“About three weeks ago, I was driving, I was at a T-junction and a lorry with failed brakes went straight to the side of the car and took us to the other side of the street. Although another car was coming towards us, we somehow survived it. Trust me, now I over believe that God is with me. Since then, I have been pushing my music out. Why keep them? I push them out before people begin to say I was planning to die. We are releasing everything now.”
1,179 children adopted in three years, 823 taken to foreign lands
One thousand one hundred and seventy-nine children were adopted throughout the country between 2009 and 2011.Out of the number, 823 were inter-country, that means the children were sent to foreign countries. Statistics made available to The Mirror by the Ghana office of UNICEF shows that 395 adoption cases were recorded in 2009, with 281 of the children sent out of the country. In 2010, 431 adoption cases were recorded, with 305 sent to foreign lands. According to the statistics, 353 adoptions were made in 2011, with 273 accounting for the number of children taken abroad. When contacted on the issue, the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Nana Oye Lithur, said the situation had arisen because about 19 illegal adoption agencies were operating in the country. She also said it was difficult to trace these agencies since they operate on the Internet. That, according to the minister, was a contradiction of international requirements which permit only agencies licensed by a particular country to handle inter-country adoptions. She said only three agencies: Friends of Children in Italy; Bethany Christian Services of the United States of America and Adoption Centrum in Sweden had been licenced to operate in Ghana by the Department of Social Welfare. Those agencies, the minister said, also offer humanitarian services and support children in need of protection. According to the minister, the ministry also placed a moratorium on adoption from Ghana on April 30, 2013 and that was still in place. She, however, gave the assurance that the moratorium would be annulled in the fourth quarter of this year. That notwithstanding, Nana Oye Lithur said, there were exceptions where provision had been made for emergency cases during the moratorium period, where any application made must be sent to the Department of Social Welfare (DSW) which will use its discretion as to which cases were emergencies. She reiterated that a mechanism would be put in place to ensure that the structures for monitoring adoptions in the country would be strictly adhered to. The Minister said meanwhile, the Government of Ghana was working together with UNICEF in the interim, to create a central authority to process adoptions in Ghana with UNICEF providing technical support to ensure that all cases would be handled according to the required guidelines and regulations. The Chief of Child Protection Programme, UNICEF, Johanna Erikson Takyo told The Mirror in a telephone interview that 'the increase in cases of adoptions, in particular inter-country adoptions, has been noted. The increase appears to have emerged, based on a steady demand for inter-country adoption of children,' 'It should be noted that as per international good practice and standard, inter-country adoption should always be a measure of last resort and only an option when no domestic solutions can be found for the child,' she explained.

Global Excellence Magazine Editor, Kunle Rasheed Speaks On Alleged Libelous Story Against Tunde Folawiyo
Some of you have read about how policemen picked up Global Excellence Editor, Kunle Rashid and the Publisher of Global News, Mr Segun Ogunbunmi on Wednesday concerning an alleged libelous story Mr Ogunbunmi wrote about Mr Tunde Folawiyo? Well here is a press statement from Mr Kunle Rasheed. "It is necessary to set the record straight regarding the alleged adultery story written in some news mediums about Mr. Tunde Folawiyo. To the best of my knowledge, his alleged amorous affair with ex-Miss Lux, Mrs. Ifeoma Williams, has been a feast for the online media for a long time. This I never knew, though, until my attention was called to it by Tunde’s younger brother, Yomi, a friend, who, knowing I wield some level of popularity among journalists, asked me to help talk to online publishers who had published the story on their blogs to please take them down. I did not disappoint. A few days after succeeding in taking off the story from the internet, Yomi again called my attention to the fact that two weekly magazines namely Encomium and Global News have written the story, but according to him, Global News owned by Segun Ogunbunmi did not do an objective piece.
It was then I urged Yomi to create familiarity with major players in the media so they would see him as a friend. He agreed and called a meeting with some editors. The Global News publisher, Segun Ogunbunmi, was part of the meeting. We all met for about one hour at a lounge on Opebi Road, Ikeja. We chatted intimately before we left the venue. Yomi later called a fresh meeting and he specifically requested for Segun Ogunbunmi to be part of it. Convinced that that second meeting would further cement his relationship with the Folawiyos, having being singled out based on the story published in his magazine, I ensured that Segun attended the meeting. It was while the meeting was in progress that some policemen banged on the three of us and whisked us to the Zone 2 police headquarters in Lagos Island where they said we were wanted for questioning. Surprisingly, on getting to Zone 2, the police said that Segun was their target, so they asked both Yomi and I to go free. It was there and then that I realized I had been used by the Folawiyos to nail a friend and professional colleague. Meanwhile, I was shocked to behold later how the police had caused a statement to be issued in the media labeling me a criminal that was arrested for criminal libel and that I was only released on bail. For the record, I have not written anything on the Folawiyos for some months. The only one I did of recent was about Yomi Folawiyo’s child dedication. I also caused some of my media friends to publish it in their respective publication. Therefore, I’m asking the Folawiyos to produce a proof of the claim that I have libeled them. With my experience in the last three days, I have come to realize that the intention of the Folawiyos is just to rub my treasured name in the mud. In a civilized world, Tunde Folawiyo should know what a civil case is; as such he should not resort to harassing innocent persons. A good name is more desirable than great riches and to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. On this basis, I demand a full apology from the Folawiyos; failure to do so, I will seek redress in the law court.
