UK Promoter Allegedly Dupes K1 De Ultimate Of £40,000

        + As Orisefemi & May D boycott London concert

As a promoter, all your efforts to prosper shall not come true no matter how hard you try”……. These were the words of the King of fuji music K1 de ultimate to UK promoter Saka Ayodele  Monmodu, CEO House of Music after the highly publicised the Ultimate concert in London. What started as a sweet, cordial relationship between K1 de ultimate and House of music has become thug of war as both parties have fallen apart.  We learnt that Mr Ayodele duped K1 of about £40,000 which is supposed to be his share from the UK edition of his world tour. Narrating how they fell apart, sources disclosed that house of music and K1 had an agreement that he would be paid £40,000 for 3 shows including London, Manchester and Dublin but at the end of the show he offered K1 the ultimate £2000 pounds. He was said to have bitterly rejected the money and cursed him endlessly. Billy Que entertainment who partnered House of music on the concerts confirmed the story to us regarding the incident as the most embarrassing moment of his life as a promoter.

GOSPEL ACT TAIWO OSHADIPE' DIES OF HEART FAILURE

It seems to be a season of strange death that is ravaging the Nigerian entertainment world lately. Barely 24 hours after the death of popular dancer Kemi Omotoyinbo (aka Kemi Paso) was announced, another sad news has crept into the showbiz arena as Taiwo Oshadipe of the famous Oshadipe Twins group gave up the ghost in the early hours of today. According to the information at our disposal, the pretty lady died in her sleep. Though she has been ill for some time, but she has shown signs of improvement before the final curtain was drawn on her life, echoed a source. The unexpected death has left her other half Kehinde Oshadipe uncontrollably heartbroken.

CAN President, Ayo Oritsejafor Is Not A Good Leader- Cardinal Okogie

In an explosive interview with Sahara Reporters, Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie, the first President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, and former Archbishop of Lagos, shared his thoughts on the current leadership of CAN. He said the Christian body has no leadership and that Pres. Jonathan and Pastor Oritsejafor deserve to be sued over the recent $9.3m South African arms deal scandal. He also said the President Jonathan doesn't deserve a second term. Excerpts from his interview below...

"We have to be praying for this kind of people, for them to have a change of heart. What are they looking for with jet? Another one said, “Jesus said go into the whole world and evangelize, so how can I go into the whole world, with what? I need a plane to be able to go to the whole world.” Even the devil can quote scripture. But did Jesus Christ say you should go and steal to go and buy plane? But now they are claiming that they were given the jets as gifts. But why can’t they spend that money on the poor? There are many Nigerians who are begging that they have nothing to eat, and yet you say you’re preaching. Preaching for what? Are there no pastors where they are going? May God not punish us according to our sins.

NEILS, KANNYWOOD HOLD HEALTH INSURANCE CONVENTION IN KANO

It was indeed a gathering of Kannywood’s most influential and prominent entertainment practitioners in Kano on Sunday September 21th, 2014 at the Nigerian Entertainment Industry Lecture Series (NEILS) organized Nigerian Entertainment Industry Health Insurance Scheme (NEIHIS) convention to herald the eventual roll out of the scheme from the northern region of the country.
