K1 Cuts Short World Tour To Honour Osolo of Isolo, Oba Kabiru Adelaja On His 10th Anniversary

The world acclaimed king of fuji music Wasiu Ayinde Marshal popularly known as K1 the ultimate will be back in the country on Tuesday the 9th of September 2014 and this is authoritative.

The immensely gifted musician will be cutting short his world tour to honour the Osolo of Isolo, Oba Kabiru Adelaja who will be celebrating his 10th year coronation anniversary.

K1, who also made such return not too long ago for Lanre Akanni Mohammed (Lamex)'s 50th birthday celebrations, will be leaving the country to the UK after the event.

Meanwhile, the London shows will be the second leg of the world tour that will take him to four continents in the world. 

Already, the tour has taken him to North America and the Caribbean; he is billed to perform in Malaysia, Australia and South Africa before returning to the country in November.

Let’s play the tape back from the very start till now. There has been tremendous revolution within Nigerian Entertainment Industry. In the past, entertainers had to sleep at people’s doorsteps for their voice to be heard.

Now, they are not only running the show, they are also smiling to the banks in a big way. They now own the most fashionable cars, most beautiful houses and other endorsements. Nigerian singer-songwriter, harmonica player, and businessman, Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo is one artiste that sells shows in Nigeria despite his new status. Before he pitched his tent with Good Music in America, the Ogun State born singer charged nothing less than N15 million per event appearance. Dr. Akin Enoch Zerubabbel Olowookere who Is popularly known as Diblo, a singer has featured rave of the moment, Oritsefemi Ekele Majemite in a single titled Dibobo.

The retired soldier and philanthropist of 52 years old from Akure, Ondo State believes the song is to curb laziness and hooliganism in our society.

You have not been visible in the political scene in Ogun State for few months now, where have you been?

It’s true that in the last few months, I’ve not been physically visible; I have been faced recently with the challenges of my professional duties.

I’ve been so busy with my job in the North. Relatively, my supporters are there back home heading to instructions and directives, we are relatively in the scheme of political affairs in our area.
