Ekiti State Governor-elect, Mr Ayodele Fayose, has described the incumbent Governor of the State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, as an unusual Nigerian leader who puts the interest of his state ahead of personal gains.

Fayose, who gave the commendation in Ado-Ekiti on Monday, 23rd June, 2014, during a courtesy visit to Dr Fayemi in his office said Fayemi’s attitude to the outcome of Saturday, 21st June, 2014′s poll showed that “he conceded in the overall interest of Ekiti State”.

The Governor-elect said Fayemi has demonstrated commitment to the peace and development of the state since 2010; assuring that he would complement all achievements made by the incumbent Governor when he hands over in October.

Sources close to www.theoctopusnews.com, revealed that Shidoo often times boasts about her man describing him as her ‘angel on earth and an ‘ATM Machine’.  To reward the lady for her ‘services’, it was said that the governor spoilt his alleged mistress with a duplex in Abuja and also expensive cars, aside foreign trips to some choice cities around the world.  Shidoo, a graduate of Mass Communication from Benue State University, will soon go for her Masters degree in England, courtesy her generous ‘lover boy’, the report said. Interestingly, the relationship between the governor and his mistress is said to be known to the First Lady, who we gathered has severally confronted her husband all to no avail.

Ekiti Gubernatorial Election: Early Results Shows PDP Candidate, Ayo Fayose, Leading With A Wide Margin

Collation of results have begun in almost all the Sixteen local governments areas of Ekiti State.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ad hoc staffs are now announcing the results of the elections at the various polling units and wards across the state.

Early results seen by Saharareporters shows that former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose of  Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is leading and may likely win the final votes, if the trend continues.
