QnA? RT if you are a virgin! However, some of his fans were agitating on what could have led to such question, whether the old but still agile musician wanted to marry a virgin as wife.

Lovers of gospel songs in Ilaje dialect from Ondo State will readily remember Remilekun Amos. The artiste’s voice lifted many souls and comforted the hopeless.  This time around, the second born from the family of five, Lekan Remilekun Amos is presently keeping the memory of his father alive. Besides his musical dexterity which portrays him as an indigenous singer, the talented musician complemented it with humility. Lekan Remilekun Amos was born in Lagos to the family of Apostle Dr & Mrs Remilekun Amos on May 27, 1982. He’s a student of Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) in 400-level, studying electronics. He started his music career long ago with his father, appearing first on stage at a tender age of 13. He kicked off his ministry in 2003. He's a multi-talented artiste with deep understanding of the word of God, thereby enhancing his brand of music to be a philosophical one. He had four successful albums on the label of Galaxy Music & Films namely ‘Aye Soro’, ‘Aditunla’, ‘Igi Aruwe’ & the latest ‘Olorun Esan’. Ayesoro shot him to the limelight in 2006 and since then he has been a force to reckon with in the gospel music industry, waxing stronger day by day. Even as a youth, he has been able to stand firm in promoting the brand legacy left behind by his dad who was a legend after his mysterious disappearance in year 2000. Lekan has carted many awards. He has a large fan base across the world. He’s married and blessed with a kid, a devoted Christian from the C&S Church of Zion, which has its origin from Ilaje, Ondo State.

Wasiu Ayinde Snubs Buhari Omo Musa At Rasheed Ayinde's Mummy Burial In Ibadan

Information reaching us from our reliable source said the rancour between Wasiu Ayinde and Buhari Omo Musa has taken a new dimension as both of them met at Rasheed Ayinde's mummy burial. We were told that Wasiu Ayinde came when alfas had already seated. Immediately he got there, he went straight to the alfas but snubbed Buhari who was sitting among the alfas. In case you don't know, their quarrel started at Saheed Osupa mother's burial. Buhari called the musician to bring money for the prayer but Wasiu Ayinde ignored him and said they would  gather the money together. We were told they have been at loggerheads and the Alfa usually abuses Wasiu in his sermon. 

LKT Recounts Armed Robbery Attack

For the past few days now, talented musician, LKT has been thanking his God for saving his life from the hands of armed robbers as he was attacked on his way home last week Friday.  We gathered that he was attacked while driving towards Ogba, Ikeja when two men on bike pointed gun at him and threatened to shoot him if he refused to wind down the glass of his car which he eventually did. It was said that they collected all his valuable items. In fact, we were told that, if not for the traffic, they would have collected his car but he was left uninjured since he cooperated with them.  Some of the things they collected from him include Blackberry phones, jewelries and money. When we called the singer, it was his manager that picked the call and he confirmed that they robbed the Fuji pop singer saying, "Yes, it is true, it happened along Ijaye Road, Ogba. He was just driving along the road and a bike was chasing him and when they got to his side, they pointed gun at him and he wound the glass down. We thank God they did not harm anybody but they carted away some valuable things."

Blood Test That Predicts How Long You’ll Live

Scientists in Britain have developed a novel blood test that could provide clues to the ageing process and determine how long an individual may live.

In a recent publication in the International Journal of Epidemiology, the scientists say they have discovered key metabolites in the blood, described as chemical ‘fingerprints’ left behind as a result of early molecular changes before birth or in infancy which not only could provide clues to health later in life but also pave the way for the development of therapies to treat age-related conditions.

Funded by the European Commission, Researchers from the Department of Twin Research at King’s College London, the research involves “metabolomic profiling,” the study of metabolites that specific cellular processes or changes leave behind in the blood.

Analysing blood samples donated by over 6,000 twins, they identified 22 metabolites directly linked to chronological age, the concentrations of the metabolites were higher in older people than in younger people.

Their finding suggests that levels of this novel metabolite, which may be determined in the womb and affected by nutrition during development, could reflect accelerated aging in later adult life. The scientists say the findings show it is possible that these markers of aging can be identified with simple blood tests in the future, which may provide further clues to the aging process and could pave the way for development of therapies to treat age-related conditions.

Ana Valdes, lead researcher from King’s, said that “human aging is a process influenced by genetic, lifestyle and environmental factors, but genes only explain a part of the story.

“Understanding the molecular pathways involved in the aging process could ultimately pave the way for future therapies to treat age-related conditions. As these 22 metabolites linked to aging are detectable in the blood, we can now predict actual age from a blood sample pretty accurately and in the future this can be refined to potentially identify future rapid biological aging in individuals,” she further said.

The past three years has been a very emotional period for me. I focused my energy on work and to build back my self esteem. its been really hard for me to come out straight and talk about this because sometimes I pinch myself to wake up and not believe that I was a victim of domestic violence. I've been through a lot in my life, faced a lot of challenges but this is one topic I've tried so hard to avoid and have been waiting for the right time but I have come to a resolve that there's really no right time because every second of the day,lives are being lost due to domestic violence. I was a victiim of domestic violence in my marriage and that was the singular reason I left my marriage, aside other reasons. Growing up as a girl. I was always known as the sweetest kid on the block, before I got married, I have been through some relationships and for once no man had ever laid a finger on me. The first time it happened in my marriage I didn't understand it because I am not the type of woman a man beats but I guess there are no types. It just happens and no woman deserves it. As a young girl I thought it was love or his way of expressing his emotions,after every beating he pleads , cries and says it won't happen again, once again I thought it was love and made excuses for him. Over the years when it kept happening consistently I started looking for other definitions for it. I started loosing my self pride,self esteem , self worth, and most painfully i lost a pregnancy (Miscarriage) I almost lost my life in the process then I realised how serious and abnormal it really was. I have heard and read a lot of accusations from ignorant people who don't know my story,I guess that's why they are ignorant. I was 20yrs old and very naive to the world when I got married .“ They said I married for money“ LOL. I was married to a corporate guy,who had a 9_5 job in a bank, Lives in a rented 2 bedroom apartment at Egbe.. So do the maths! . I married for love. I did a traditional wedding. A white wedding and a court wedding. So that's how much I wanted to be married forever. For five years I hoped, prayed & wished that one day it will all change. But the last straw that broke the carmels back was during a heated argument he threw a glass jug to my face and I dogged it and it shattered on d wall. I saw death flash before me and I made a decision to save my life. I left my marriage. Am not saying this to draw pity from anyone because we are entitled to our opinions and believes. I am not also saying this to discourage people from falling in love because its a beautiful feeling and I still believe in it. I am saying this to educate, share and talk about my experience as a victim of domestic violence because it is real.
