One half of the multiple award-winning P-Square, Peter Okoye, last Tuesday, shocked many of his fans when he finally proposed to Lola Omotayo, his long time friend and mother of his two kids (Cameron and Aliona) with a diamond ring and a brand new white Range Rover Vogue worth N15 million.

The proposal put to rest the widespread criticisms that have trailed their relationship over the years. Lola, who said ‘Yes’ to the proposal, reportedly was close to tears when the musician slipped the diamond engagement ring into her finger, and handed the car keys to her.

Peter, who didn’t give Lola prior notice of his plan, visited her residence with the car and parked it inside her compound. On the bonnet of the vehicle, he also dropped a rose flower and a love card with the inscription, ‘Please say Yes.’

This drama was followed by a long passionate kiss from the love birds. Minutes later, the musician posted on his Instagram and Twitter handle saying, “It’s about time,” and shortly after, he also posted that “she said yes.”

He later updated his Blackberry status with “Officially, she’s now Mrs. Okoye…” Speaking on why he decided to propose to Lola, Peter said: “it is something I had always wanted to do and I knew I would definitely do this to Lola one day, but I needed to wait for the right time. Honestly, she deserves even more from me.” he said. On her own, Lola said, “it is a day the Lord has made.

I’m excited the way any woman in my shoes would.” The romance between Peter and Lola started many years ago, even before Peter became a celebrity. Their relationship is already blessed with two kids; Cameron and Aliona Okoye. A Public Relations expert said that, Lola met Peter while she was working with FKG2, an advertising company.

Theatre Medicine: Abati And Okupe Issue Different Statements For Same Presidency On Same Issue

In an apparent move to impress President Goodluck Jonathan and also outsmart one another for Jonathan’s favour, presidential spokesmen Reuben Abati and Doyin Okupe were today falling over each other to unleash press statements on the same bait dangled before the presidency yesterday by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The mega-party yesterday offered Jonathan an “invitation” to its ranks if he wanted to avoid the chaos in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and none of the two desperate aides, reflecting a state of panic in managing President Jonathan’s poor image, checked with the other about the definition of team.
Okupe wrote that in extending its invitation to the President, the National Chairman of the APC made reference to what it called crisis rocking the PDP, “forgetting that the real test of leadership is not in running away from crisis but in resolving them firmly and fairly.
“The very nature of democratic politics envisages conflict of ideas, interests and aspirations which must be aggregated for the overall good of the public and which all true leaders must be mentally and emotionally prepared to tackle,” the former medical doctor declared.
To that end, he said Mr. Jonathan has “continued to pursue the Transformation Agenda with zeal, focus and unequalled determination despite the enormous security challenges” which he blamed on “elements in the opposition political party who had hoped that the ship of the Nigerian Nation would not stay afloat under the first President ever produced from a minority ethnic group.”
Ignoring—or perhaps completely unaware of Okupe’s statement—Abati sent out his own, describing the APC invitation as “an acknowledgment of Jonathan’s sterling leadership qualities”.
He accused the merging parties of “forming a party only to realise they don’t have a candidate,” and that Jonathan is comfortable where he is.
Commenting on the matter this evening, a political observer said he was sure the APC could not believe it had lured the presidency out so early and easily.
“It is difficult to believe that these people do not realize they were being baited, and fell for the simplest trick in politics.  Not only does Mr. Jonathan have two of his aides demonstrating a divided house, he has them dancing Azonto when Apala music is being played.  But remember, one of these men studied theatre arts, the other one, Medicine.  So perhaps we are seeing the emergence of a new field of entertainment we can call “Theatre Medicine.”
A newspaper columnist who reflected on the same issue, defended Abati for coming out with a second statement: “Remember that Jonathan recently gave Okupe a glittering new car.  Abati does not want the next bag of goodies to go to someone else.”

Also, please wash your hands before touching a woman’s privates to avoid transmitting infection from car doors and household things.

Take your time and really enjoy every individual sensation. That is how women do it. You need to learn how to listen to a woman’s body. It will tell you what she wants, just like yours tells her. Take it slow, so slow it hurts. It is rare that a slow pace will bore a woman.

7,000 Scramble For 500 admission Slot At Ekiti University

Over 7,000 prospective students are scrambling for the 500 slots at the Federal University, Oye Ekiti.

The Vice Chancellor of the university , Prof  Isaac Asuzu disclosed this to newsmen at the campus weekend during the 2013 Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME)

He said it was the policy of the university that all the prospective applicants must write their examination online

Azuzu said the university would conduct the examination batch by batch for the remaining one week ,as the institution can boast of having 250 computers

The VC said the university needs about N1.5 billion to provide facilities in the Faculty of Engineering.

The Professor of Veterinary Medicine, said  a committee had been raised to reach out to corporate bodies and international organizations to be able to actualize the target.

He said the mandated Entrepreneurial courses  being offered by the students of the University , was meant to correct the impression being at local and international  levels that Nigerian graduates are employable.

He further disclosed that  the Federal  Government has expended  a sum of N3.5 billion to provide infrastructure in the institution, which he said was released in two tranches.

“For the faculty of Engineering to be a world class or 21st century  Faculty, we will need up to N1.5 billion particularly to provide the best  Laboratory that will offer our students the best learning process. We cannot rely on government alone and that is why we are reaching out to private bodies.”

Azuzu said the institution is presently strengthening its Research and innovation Centre, saying  the institution recently sent one of its Directors  and academic staff to China to understudy some new innovations in the areas of Science and Technology.
