I HAVE NO REGRET GETTING MARRIED TO A NIGERIAN GUY – AMERICAN LADY, JEANETTE

It would take a soothsayer to give a full description of this Humbled American lady that found her missing rib in Nigerian young and intelligent dude. Jeanette Marie, of Olasoji of the conjugal rite could be best described in a formula form as thus, ‘a thousand ‘W’ PS woman’, for the uninitiated, the above formula simply defined Mrs. Olasoji as a woman of ‘a thousand words Per Second’. Little wonder her hubby described her as a ‘multitalented woman ‘. Without being a sycophant, those who were able to mingle and hitherto relate to Jeanette during her visit to Nigeria recently can testify to her humility gesture and her level of interpersonal relation. Her countenance during the interview with our correspondent shows that she’s always an interviewer’s delight. ERU OLORUN, NEW ISLAMIC SINGER TO WATCHOUT FOR

ERU OLORUN
Amolegbe Quazeem is his real name but he was musically  christened 'Eru Olorun' due to his simplicity and down to earth attitude.
Having being critically observing the lapses in Islamic gospel industry, Eru Olorun has now put all the necessary  mechanism in place to come out with a bombing album that is going to be dedicated to the late Islamic gospel legend singer, Alhaji Wahhed Ariyo by the end of this year.
Regardless the fact that the  Koboro, Ogun State-born Islamic fledgling singer is just three years in the industry, yet he has been able to make a landmark for himself among his peers in the industry as he has performed and collaborated with some of the high flying Islamic gospel artistes such  as Opeyemi Jemila, Alhaja Bashirimi and a host of others.

Nigeriafilms.com Reacts To Alleged Blackmail By One Austin Anieke

Our attention has been drawn to a story making the rounds as regards one Austin Anieke, who purportedly claimed to be a staff of Nigeriafilms.com and was alleged to have attempted to blackmail an actress named Shirley Igwe, who is a former Delta soap model and Governor Rochas Okorocha’s Principal Prococol Officer.

We wish to categorically state that Austin is not and was never a staff of Nigeriafilms.com. None of our staff goes with that name. It is very disheartening and unbelievable that someone would be planning to drag our reputable and popular media platform in the mud through blackmail.

Nigeriafilms.com is not known for blackmailing people, not even now that we are working tirelessly to rebrand and restructure the platform in positively promoting Nollywood and the Nigerian entertainment industry, especially through our reportage. Thanks.

P-square, 2face, D'banj, Omawumi Others Top Highest Paid Nigerian Artistes List ….What They Earn

Let’s play the tape back from the very start till now. There has been tremendous revolution within Nigerian Entertainment Industry. In the past, entertainers had to sleep at people’s doorsteps for their voice to be heard.
Now, they are not only running the show, they are also smiling to the banks in a big way. They now own the most fashionable cars, most beautiful houses and other endorsements. Back then, promoters paid peanuts to musicians while they spent so much on foreign stars. In this write-up, Isaac Oguntoye lists out the richest among the Nigerian artistes. Basically, each artiste has a standard fee for gigs, concerts but for private parties such as birthday, wedding, etc, they charge according to their ratings. Some people would call for reduction simply because they are individuals, not brand. It depends on the artistes whether to accept or not. This list was put together strictly on how much they earn per show, influence and so many other factors.

P-Square
Gangling musical act, P-square can be referred to as the most consistent of all time. Without mincing words, the Alingo exponents are rocking the town currently. Any show or concert that P-Square graces is a big one. Their official fee, we learnt is 15 million naira. Most concerts during festive period have their face on them. The music duo has featured on Forbes Africa twice. They have recorded big concerts and have been presidential guests in at least five African countries according to report.
D’banj
Nigerian singer-songwriter, harmonica player, and businessman, Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo is one artiste that sells shows in Nigeria despite his new status. Virtually, all big concerts in Nigeria would have D'Banj's face on it. Before he pitched his tent with Good Music in America, the Ogun State born singer charged nothing less than N15 million per event appearance. But now, his strength and availability have drastically dropped to the extent that he hardly graces some major concerts within the country. At the moment, we gathered from close source that, he charges between N5 million and N7million as performance fee for local gigs; $80,000 to $150,000 for African shows; £40,000 to £60,000 for UK shows; and $50,000 to $60,000 for American shows.
