At The Ambassador Charity Awards/Concert which took place last Saturday at Lagos Oriental Hotel Lekki, Hajia Habiba Abubakar alongside other notable personalities made huge donations to support the cause of the less privileged in the society.
The event which took place on 27th of September 2014 was put together to bring joy and smiles to the faces of the less privileged by presenting them with gifts and food items and also to reward and recognize those individuals, cooperate bodies and foundations that have contributed so much selfless services to humanity, and the charity sector in the country and the world at large.
Hosted by Koffi Idowu, the talented comedian, quality top entertainment personalities home and abroad, Government officials and co-operate entities all had a fun-filled outing. The event, which was packaged by Equity Concepts Entertainment, witnessed over 40 media organizations which include print, electronic and online. Also, over 50 special people from different homes were in attendance.
Koffi Idowu, who doubled as compere and an awardee also performed with the likes of Nuel, Nikke Laoye, Ebele The Flutist, Young Pioneers, Comedian MC SmS, Spice, J-Das, The City Treasure, Babatunde the Oyibo comedian and many more.
Hajia Habiba who was well represented by someone dedicates the award to all the less-privileged and enjoins the society to imbue the spirit of making adequate provisions to the special people in the society.
