LAGOS COMMISSIONER, HAMZAT COMMITS N300M TO GOV. AREGBESOLA RE-ELECTION BID

As 2014 governorship election approaches in Osun State, All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders in South west and beyond are rallying round Gov. Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State in his bid to contest for second term in office. Needless to say the outcome of the governorship election in Ekiti State has jolted them into action.
For a political party generally believed to have the South western states in its kitty, except Ondo State, losing Ekiti State would have definitely shocked them to the marrow; hence the leaders of the party could not afford to lose another western state, Osun to opposition party. To this end, we gathered that aside the party leaders who have been associating with Ogbeni Aregbesola, giving him one or two advice concerning the coming governorship election, APC public office holders are also lending their hands of support to him in a bid to ensure he comes out victorious at the August 9 poll.
One of those office holders that are throwing their weight behind Ogbeni Aregbesola’s re-election bid is
Lagos State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat. Sources in APC divulged to us that the commissioner who himself is eyeing Governorship seat of Lagos State has key into Ogbeni Aregbesola’s re- election desire. We are informed by sources that Hon. Hamzat committed a staggering N300m (Three Hundred Million) to Ogbeni Aregbesola second term electioneering. This money is said to be Hon. Hamzat owns support to the Osun State Governor.
