Dr. Stella Adadevoh the consultant physician who treated Nigeria’s index Ebola case is dead.She was the first Nigerian to be diagnosed of Ebola Virus Disease after treating Liberian-American Patrick Sawyer, who imported the EVD to Nigeria. The Liberian passed away on July 25 and the late doctor had been in Isolation where she was receiving treatment till she passed. She was a Senior Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist at the First Consultant Hospital. May her soul rest in peace.
