It has come to our notice that the star actor, Olukayode Odumosu popularly called Pa Kasunmu, who is suffering from cardiovascular disease is yet to be attended to by his colleagues.

The Yoruba movie stars, we learnt, have reportedly abandoned him and have allegedly not made efforts to help him raise the needed N12 million to stay alive.

Even though he was barely audible, Pa Kasumu who is weak at the moment said, “none of them has showed up to know how I am faring….it’s only my son that’s been taking care of me”

Tunde Odumosu, his son confirmed the news, asking for the support of Nigerians. The doctors are afraid it might spread further to other organs in the body. We are hoping that we can get well-meaning Nigerians to help raise funds so that he can get proper treatment‘, Tunde Odumosu said.

You can help save his life by donating into the account below:

‘She’s not our father’s daughter’ – Sunny Okosuns’ family disowns ex-queen, Ethel

The family of late singer Sunny Okosuns has disowned claims by former beauty queen and Nigeria project director, Exquisite Face of Africa, Ethel ‘Okosuns’; insisting she is not a daughter to the late singer and legend Sunny Okosuns. Ethel who was Miss Earth 2005 is known by associates with the surname ‘Okosuns’ and in September 2013, had granted an interview to Vanguard during which she repeatedly flashed back to memories she held of her ‘father’ Sunny Okosuns, describing him as a man with a large heart, whom she misses and continues to draw inspiration from.
But the Okosuns family in a statement exclusively made available to Vanguard and signed by the singer’s son, Sidney Ehimare Okosuns disowns these birth legitimacy Ethel presents…
‘We wish to state categorically that Ms. Ethel IS NOT our sibling. She is not the daughter of our father. Our father had four children: Sidney Okosuns, Michael Okosuns, Adesuwa Okosuns and Ebony Okosuns.
This is not the first time Ms. Ethel has fraudulently used our late father’s image and likeness as “name dropping” to achieve whatever affluence she seeks. She needs to stop identifying herself as the daughter of the Ozziddi great musician.
Years ago, Ms. Ethel as a teenager wondered into our Yaya Abatan home. Our parents ran a liberal attitude home, welcoming visitors and strangers to our sprawling Ogba Estate. Thus, our home was always busy with people from all walks of life.
Ms. Ethel walked into our home, pleaded with my dad that she wanted to sing and had no other place to live in Lagos. My parents welcome her to our compound, offered her unconditional food, shelter and love. She never left for several years. The generosity and kindness of providing her food and shelter does not give her automatic birth right to the Okosuns.”
Excerpts of Ethel’s interview with Vanguard’s Benjamin Njoku and Opeoluwani Ogunjimi reads…
As the daughter of late Sunny Okusun, one would have expected that you take after your father?
It’s a big family. I’ve always done pageantry all my life. I follow my dream.
You didn’t follow his path?
No, my sister is there, Ebony. She sings very well and gradually she’ll take over.
Do you sometimes miss your father?
Of course I do. He was a tremendous support to me. He was the man with a big heart who loved people and wanted to work with everybody. He wanted to affect lives and that was what I learnt from him. That no matter what you do in life, you must impart on people’s lives. For him, it was about giving back to the society and I miss him greatly. I wish he was here today.
Do you have any spiritual affinity with his songs whenever you listen to them?
I do, because his music encourages me a lot. Like one of his songs, “The Third War in Namibia”, I didn’t understand what he was saying then until I secured admission to study Politics in the university. But we were young then or weren’t even born. But I appreciated his songs and we look forward to unveiling a compilation of his songs very soon.
What’s your family doing as regard to your father’s works?
We are working towards compiling his works. My uncle, Easy Okosun who is on it, has recorded some of his collections under Togetherness in London. He will be returning to Nigeria soon to launch it. So very soon, we’ll be hearing more of Sunny Okosun’s oldies.”
Sidney Okosuns has demanded that Ethel submits herself for DNA testing.
”In these days of scientific proof, we demand that Ms. Ethel submit to a DNA test to prove us otherwise. The Okosuns family would pay for any DNA that would end this fraudulent identity theft. MS ETHEL IS NOT OKOSUNS DAUGHTER.”

A Very Dirty, Ugly And Sick Government And A Breast Sucking President

Dear Sir,
The more I look, not only the less I see but the more provoked I get (and that applies to every sane person ) the very ugly state of the nation has been a concern to most people, I and my co pastors ( Pastor Enoch Awasa Iburene and Pastor Livinus Nwachukwu),Join me to look at these issues and your judgment is as good as mine, May God grant you understanding.
A) most of the so called men of God have without been told led the nation to where it is today. “the prosperity without salvation preachers “ donate N50,000.00 today and become a multi millionaire in two weeks time” “dress in transparent dresses you can be almost naked, God looks only the heart” this leads to armed robberies, embezzlement of founds, blackmail, witchcraft, shedding of blood etc.
LIARS, THIEVES AND PROSTITUTES at the pulpit. They tell you it is well when they know it is not well.
They are in the same class with BOKO HARAM. These men should go hide their faces in shame. Cry for the forgiveness of their sins.

'How Flavour & Emeka Morgan abandoned MC Loph's mum' -Bianka Johnson write

Like all one-sided stories/write-ups, please read with an open mind. Bianka Johnson, who is kinda in the movie industry, today sent out something she wrote about how high life crooner Flavour and Morgan Ent. CEO Emeka Morgan, supposedly abandoned MC Loph's mother (pictured above with Bianca) after her son died in a tragic accident in 2011. Flavour and MC Loph were childhood friends while Emeka Morgan is the CEO of the record label MC Loph was signed to before his tragic passing. Find Bianca's write up below...

My name is Bianka Johnson, I reside in the United States of America. I am from Nigeria, a healthcare practitioner, actors-manager and a goodwill citizen. Flavour Nabania didn't make a tribute song "Iwe", he made a mockery of his friend, the late McLoph. Below is my story.
Tragedy brought us together.... That's how I came to know Mrs. Nwaozor, affectionately known to me as "Mama." Back in November 2011, someone posted a tribute video, "Iwe", by Flavor, on Facebook. On that day I distinctly remember viewing the video on YouTube and sobbing for over an hour after watching this video that paid homage to two siblings who so suddenly lost their lives. I was simply paralyzed thinking about the magnitude of grief one particular mother would have to endure. You see, Mama was the mother who lost those two adult children on the same day, specifically, a son, the erstwhile entertainer, MC Loph, and a daughter, Chinwe.
Continue, it gets more interesting...

For some few months now there has been deliberations on whether Nigeria would host Africa music awards.
Nigeria has eventually won the rights to host the Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA). This conclusion was reached by the International Committee of AFRIMA in a meeting held on, Saturday October 5, 2013 at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos. Nigeria will host the music awards for the next three years, while countries bidding to host after Nigeria will be announced in 2015. According to AFRIMA’s Brand Communication and Sponsorship Director, Matlou Tsotetsi who addressed journalists at a press conference held on Sunday, October 6, 2013. Nigeria was selected to host the pan- African music award, beating four other countries- Gabon, South Africa, Namibia and Kenya- because of the booming business of music in the country and its growing entertainment and event – hosting infrastructure. ‘We took a lot of factors into consideration before Nigeria was eventually considered and nominated just like we did last year in Namibia before we arrived at the last five countries’, she told journalists. The award ceremony which will be preceded by a two-day Pan African Music Summit will come up on Saturday, October 25, 2014 and will be broadcast live to 84 countries on 109 television stations across the world in the English and French languages.
