Showbiz Celebrities Who Live In ‘1004 Estate’ …Tiwa Savage And Hubby, Tuface, Babyface, Uti Top List

Saying that the Nigerian music industry is now a hot cake for every musician who is able to register his or her tune in the minds of music lovers is like stating the obvious. But what makes news here is how most of these celebrities invest and live large on the wealth acquired from the industry.

Information has it that, another celebrity’s haven in Nigeria today is 1004 Estate, a luxury haven based in Victoria Island, Lagos. The Estate which is the largest single luxury high rise estate in sub Saharan Africa and comprises of over 1004 flats, including marionettes, studio apartments and more, was built by the federal government for the accommodation of exclusive members of the society who include senators and members of the house of representatives and was subsequently occupied by senior federal civil servants until its acquisition by 1004 Estate Limited for 7billion naira, according to report.

As private group investors whose objective is to make profit after investment irrespective of who is buying and where the money is coming from, we gathered that after the refurbishment of the estate, it became a hot cake for anyone who is financially buoyant and has interest. Annie Macaulay & 2face Idibia

They are the latest couple in the music arena. The Africa's top music star, Innocent Ujah Idibia, well known as 2Face Idibia and his lovely actress wife, Annie Macaulay are currently enjoying their stay in an apartment in the Estate. The lovebirds are surely enjoying their union, which was finally legalized in April 2013 in a white wedding in Dubai.

We learnt 2face is not leaving any stone unturned as the gangling star invests most of his capital on property and part of the investment is the apartment he gave his wife in 1004 Estate. Meanwhile, we also gathered that the cool dude has over 14 apartments within the Estate which he rents out to people. Out of the 14 apartments, we learnt, was given to Dammy Krane who is signed under his record label and he gave one to his wife, Annie Macaulay.   

Tiwa Savage & Tee Billz

Tee Billz, with his bride who is the Marvin Records’ First Lady, Tiwa Savage, are both occupants in one of the apartments in the Estate. According to information, before their official marriage after dating for two years, the couple had been living together as husband and wife in the Estate. Also, we learnt that Tiwa has acquired an apartment in the Estate.

Alex Ekubo

Alex Ekubo, a one-time first runner-up in Mr. Nigeria contest, a model and an actor, is also a proud owner of an apartment in 1004 Estate. Ekubo, vibrant and young has appeared in some home videos as actor and has top class few modeling jobs as claimed.

Del B

Newly made star, Del B, too has joined other showbiz stars who reside inside 1004 Estate. The talented dude produced KC’s hit single hit, ‘Limpopo’. Del B, between 2009 and 2011, earned production credits from lacing cuts on Omotola's entire sophomore album, most of Harrisong's "Testify” album,  Ade Bantu's "No Man Stands Alone", Darey's "Rhythm and Beat" albums, and many more.

Wande Coal

Before now, it was from Mushin to Mo’hits but now it’s from Mavin to 1004 Estate in Victoria Island. Ojosipe Wande, otherwise known as Wande Coal has left the Mo’ Hits villa in Maryland for an apartment of his own in 1004 flats, Victoria Island, Lagos. The black diamond crooner who is working on his second album moved quietly to the new place a couple of months back. The house in Maryland, Lagos is now being occupied by D’Prince who also shuttles between the place and D’Banj/Don Jazzy’s apartment in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

Dr. Sid

Dr Sid also owns an apartment at 1004 flats and he is said to have left his apartment in the estate to move to his own newly acquired duplex in Lekki. We were told that he still maintains the apartment whenever he wants to relax and also allow some of his friends to stay.

General Pype

General Pype whose ‘Champion’ track made headlines and waves is enjoying the fruits of his labour. The musician has moved from the residence he shared with his mother (In Obalende, Lagos) to 1004 Flats (on Ozumba Mbadiwe,also on Victoria Island). In addition, he stays there with his new baby mama.

Teju Babyface

Standup comedian, Teju Oyelakin popularly known as Teju Babyface has equally joined the league of personalities who reside in the Estate. Ever since the introduction of his TV show, his stakes have been on the rise with several national and international awards at his wake. The humorist, we heard, has just acquired a home of his own among the 1004 flats.

Omo Akin

The “Ta Lo So Be” crooner, Omo Akin, has been thrilling his fans and he has a new hit tagged “Borrow Borrow Make Me Shine”. His “Ta Lo So Be” and his collaboration with Ikechukwu in “Ifeoma”, have remained top charts. The huge and tall singer also resides at 1004.

Uti  Nwachukwu

His name is Uti Nwachukwu; some call him Ugo Na Chonmma, while others refer to him as Omoge To Rewa. The story of Uti will not only set the pace for blockbuster charts but is capable of re-orientating most struggling young lads out there. He is an ex-Big Brother winner and most people are not surprised that he resides in that expensive Estate.

Burna Boy

Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy is a man on a mission. After scoring a nationwide hit with his mid tempo smash ‘Like To Party’, the talented singer has been claiming different endorsements both from MTN and other major brands.   He also resides in the Estate.
